Texas Water Quality Association (TWQA): A Texas-based trade association of water quality improvement professionals and their suppliers, formed to assure the individual's right to enhance the quality of water by providing continuing education and training to our members, governmental entities, and the general public.
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ): The environmental agency for the state of Texas, formed to protect the state's human and natural resources consistent with sustainable economic development. Their goal is clean air, clean water, and the safe management of waste.
Texas Ground Water Association (TGWA): Oldest association in Texas dedicated to preserving ground water resources while advancing the science of water well construction and promoting the ground water industry.
Texas Water Development Board (TWDB): Monitors approximately 130,000 of the estimated one million water wells drilled in Texas, as well as is charged with providing leadership, planning, financial assistance, information, and education for the conservation and responsible development of water for Texas.
Provides helpful information to the public regarding public health issues of any nature, including water disinfection procedures. Also provides testing for bacteriological contaminants in water.
